B & T Sound Productions is owned and operated by Brittany and Travis Holmquist. Travis has been active in the music community in Kalispell, MT for over 14 years and is an expert in professional music and sound.
The business started as a side project, helping friends with their weddings. We began to receive requests from friends of those friends and business took off from there. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to make it a profession.
In 2009 we became members of the North West Montana Wedding and Event Professionals Association. We have been active in the association as well as the Wedding Expo organized by the association every year.
Together we have provided the highest quality service for many weddings and many other special events. We love working together and we truly enjoy what we do!

We do our best to run our business in an eco friendly way. Here are a few ways we are green:
Paper and Recycling
We use electronic communication as much as possible instead of using paper. When the use of paper is required, we use 100% recycled paper and print of both sides of each page.
All our business cards and promotional materials are also printed on 100% recycled paper.
LED Lighting
We use energy efficient LED lights in our lighting design as much as possible.
Long-lasting - LED bulbs last up to 10 times as long as compact fluorescents, and far longer than typical incandescents.
Durable - since LEDs do not have a filament, they are not damaged under circumstances when a regular incandescent bulb would be broken. Because they are solid, LED bulbs hold up well to jarring and bumping.
Cool - these bulbs do not cause heat build-up; LEDs produce 3.4 BTUs/hour, compared to 85 for incandescent bulbs. Common incandescent bulbs get hot and contribute to heat build-up in a room. LEDs prevent this heat build-up, thereby helping to reduce air conditioning costs.
Mercury-free - no mercury is used in the manufacturing of LEDs.
More efficient - LED light bulbs use only 2-17 watts of electricity 1/3rd to 1/30th of Incandescent bulbs!
Transportation
We use our trailer only when absolutely necessary and can often drive our mid-sized car to events.
Electronics
We use energy star rated lap tops for all our business operations and turn them off when not in use.
Dan Smith - DJ and DJ Assistant
Dan joined our team in 2009 as a DJ assistant and has been a wonderful member of our team. He is extremely personable, polite and professional. Over the years Dan has taken on more responsibility at events and has developed into a fantastic DJ. He is an expert on our equipment, very skilled at reading a crowd and selecting appropriate music and always strives to exceed the very high expectations we hold for our business.
Cory Niva - DJ Assistant
Cory joined our team in 2009 and has been a valuable member of our team and a very skilled DJ Assistant. Cory is polite, professional, extremely kind and helpful. He has a great ear from music and sound and puts great effort into ensuring everything is in perfect order. He is consistently going above and beyond for us, our business and our clients.
